Informed consent
Before any recording or data contribution, contributors are told how their data will be used and must agree in writing or electronically.
Purpose
Contributions are used to train, test and improve AI systems for our clients, as described in each project brief.
What may be collected
Depending on the project: voice recordings, transcriptions, text, images or video, plus basic demographic details such as age range, gender, language and accent when required by the dataset.
Anonymisation
Where possible, personal identifiers are removed or separated from the data shared with clients.
Minors
We do not collect data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
Withdrawal
Contributors may contact us to withdraw consent for future use where technically and contractually possible. Data already delivered to a client may not be recoverable.
